Latest in Cone Beam CT Technology

Every new patient at Premier Sleep Associates gets a Cone Beam CT scan of their jaw and their bite.

This can help us in predicting who can benefit most from a sleep apnea mouthpiece or an oral appliance for the treatment of a diagnosed condition of obstructive sleep apnea.

This device can automatically compute the total airway volume, and view segmented areas of constriction.

A constricted airway could put the patient at risk of having a sleep disordered breathing.

We can also scan patients wearing their oral appliance to see the impact of the device on a patient’s airway volume.
